Welcome to my very first blog post! I open with this quote because it always reminds me to move forward and not be afraid to live the live I imagined, instead of just the life expected of me.

As I get older I get more reflective and find myself constantly asking – what do you want out of life? Beyond the obvious things, like financial stability, happiness; I keep coming up with the same answer, to live my life to the fullest!

That’s one of the reasons I started modeling, writing, and even started this blog! Writing and modeling are my passion projects and you’ve got to pursue your passion; even if people hate on your goals. I’m sure there are some people who think curvy girls shouldn’t be models.

Well I embrace being a curvy girl - voluptuous, plus size, whatever you want to call it, I love it! To me the words Curve and Curvy represent fullness. So, when I say I’m living that curvy girl life it means I’m living life to the fullest. Fair warning, you’ll be seeing the term #thatcurvygirllife a lot on Curvy Girl Chronicles.

I have many interests, so in this blog I’ll cover lifestyle, health, fitness, politics, writing, Sci Fi (yes, I’m that Unicorn, a cool, pretty, chick who loves Sci Fi) Basically, I’ll blog about whatever surfs across my mind, with a strong focus on plus size beauty and fashion, because all of these things help me live life to the fullest . I’ll profile women I admire who I feel are pursuing their dreams and can provide advice to the rest of us!

Of course I’ll give some insight into my life as an aspiring plus model too, hence the title, Curvy Girl Chronicles - journaling my life and thoughts as a Curvy Girl!
