You Can’t Out-Exercise a Bad Diet

It’s true! No matter how much we’d like to believe otherwise, if you eat crap you’ll continue to look and feel like crap. Find some balance. If you like dessert, you don’t have to totally discard it. You do; however, have to be reasonable. If your idea of dessert is eating an entire pie, you’re doin’ it wrong. Take a slice and then get rid of the rest.

If you’re like me, there are certain things I know I can’t have around the house. I can’t be trusted with peanut butter. It’s just not going to happen, so I steer clear. If I have any, at all, I’m not alone while eating it. Sounds crazy, right? Maybe so, but it’s no crazier than eating a whole jar of peanut butter and then hating myself for it.

So, be smart. To truly lead a fit life, one must eat healthy AND move her body.

Use each component to fuel the other. When I have a great workout I’m motivated to eat better throughout the day. When I make better food choices my body feels more alive and I don’t mind moving so much. Use all aspects of a fit life to keep you going. It works!
