Happy Thanksgiving!!!

There is so much to be thankful for this and every year. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays, mainly because I always spend it with my family and I love seeing family plus my birthday is November 26 so Thanksgiving always falls around my birthday. As my 8 year old nephew said, it’s like a double birthday!! Lol The one think I want to try to do is be more grateful and thankful year round. Here are a few tips I’ll be trying out to make sure the Thanksgiving Thanks continues throughout the year.

  • Keep A Grateful Journal – each day write down what you are grateful for that day. Oprah swears by this and hey she knows a bit about success, and living your best life.

  • A friend on Instagram created a Thanksgiving advent craft. She and her daughter wrote what they were thankful for each day on colorful circles and hung from ribbons in the house. It looked great and is a great way to teach kids how to be thankful.

  • Gratitude Jar I started one in 2014 but got a little away from it – get a mason jar, and when you are celebrating something, grateful for something, excited, write it on a piece of paper, place in the jar, then on New Year’s Day, you can reread all the things you were thankful for through the year out the year.

I’m thankful for time with family, friends, for my job and for having the courage to start my blog venture this year. I’m so happy to have the opportunity to reach people though my blog, modeling and writing. So Thank YOU for reading. I’m wishing you and yours a very happy and relaxing holiday.
