Cure Stigma Mental Health Awareness

Every year 1 in 5 adults experiences a mental health condition May is Mental Health Awarness Month and July is National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month.

I have family members who have suffered from depression and other mental illness and I'm very aware, there is a often a huge stigma attached to mental illness. That's why I like the National Alliance of Mental Illness' (NAMI) Cure Stigma campaign.

Visit CureStigma.org to see vids from some familiar faces (yeah, celebrities) and not so familiar (the guy and girl next door) talking about ending the stigma of mental illness.
